Today is my first entry into my new blog. :)
I'm excited to start blogging even if no one reads my blog.
It has been a rough 2007 for me and my husband. We started out the year with my grandfather passing away, my mother in law passed away a few months after, my father in law was diagnosed with cancer, and then we lost our baby. We lost our son at about 15.5 weeks. We had tried for 18 months to have a baby and got pregnant on our first round of IVF. The drs don't know much, but they said they will do a cerclage (cervical stitch) for my next pregnancy. I had a scare at 13 weeks where they thought my cervix was funneling - 2 visits to the peri later and they said I was fine. Regarding getting pregnant again -I'm thinking positive here and thinking there WILL BE a successful pregnancy. I'm 35 and my husband is 34. We have male factor.
We hope to get pregnant in 2008 and we hope 2008 is a better year in general.
This blog will be used to talk about my infertility, my loss, and in trying to get pregnant again.

- I am 36 and my husband is 36. We got married at 32yo and started trying at 33yo. We tried to get pregnant for 2+ years. We did IVF and were successful. Unfortunately, we lost our son at almost 16 weeks due to an incompetent cervix. We got pregnant again on a break cycle (no IVF) and we have our son after many months of self imposed bedrest. This blog is for me. I write about various topics from my experience. I try to be politically correct as much as I can be. I'm from the south so my opinions spew out of my mouth sometimes. :) Thanks for checking out my blog.
