Dre, I'm sorry you are on partial bedrest. I'm sure that must be hard with a little one -almost 3. How far along are you now? Good luck - you can do it! Keep your eye on the prize!
I hope everyone has a great Memorial Day weekend! I'm starting kinda early and just flaking at work today. No one will be working at my job anyway...
DH and I are going to clean our house and go to a movie (a date). :)
Work is such a pain lately, but hopefully I'm viewed as 'valued'. It's nice to get a day off -well plus Monday.

- I am 36 and my husband is 36. We got married at 32yo and started trying at 33yo. We tried to get pregnant for 2+ years. We did IVF and were successful. Unfortunately, we lost our son at almost 16 weeks due to an incompetent cervix. We got pregnant again on a break cycle (no IVF) and we have our son after many months of self imposed bedrest. This blog is for me. I write about various topics from my experience. I try to be politically correct as much as I can be. I'm from the south so my opinions spew out of my mouth sometimes. :) Thanks for checking out my blog.

You are so sweet... thanks! I think it is rougher on my DH than me... although just getting through part of a work day (hell, even driving the car!) is much harder than the actual bedrest (except for the guilt). Not much longer now. C/S scheduled for June 17th. If I make it that long.
Enjoy date "day," it is seriously important to force time for your marriage into the whole new parent thing. We are still getting the hang of it, almost three years later. I think we have only gone on five "dates" that entire time. And believe me, the impact of the lack of alone time together is quite noticeable. Have a great weekend!
